Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Backend Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of backend technologies, database management, and API integrations, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for building efficient, scalable, and secure server-side applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and services to support mobile and web applications.
• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure data security and compliance best practices are followed in all backend processes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring coding standards are upheld.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning and standups.
• Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (or your primary backend language — adjust as needed).
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with server-side security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, or microservices architecture is a plus.
